Kathryn Elliott is a Nutritionist, food writer and healthy cooking expert. At Balance2health she offers a specialist nutrition service, focussing on food, healthy cooking and making eating well easier. All services are offered in one-on-one sessions, private groups and small public groups.
1. One-on-one Consultations
If you wish to improve your health by eating well and want to be guided through the changes, then book in for a one-on-one consultation. Kathryn’s approach is that healthy eating should be simple, practical and catered to your needs, tastes and lifestyle. A nutrition consultation will suit if you
- are fatigued and find it hard to concentrate
- have poor or fluctuating energy levels
- would like to perform better at work
- want to boost your vitamin and mineral intake by eating better
Kathryn can also advise on other nutrition issues such as healthy vegetarian and vegan eating, weight loss, heart disease prevention and blood sugar management. One-off sessions are available, or book in for a block of consultations, as Kathryn guides you through changing the way you eat.
One-on-one consultation fees:
|First consultation $90 (1 hour)||Follow up consultations $42 (30 min)||10% discount for booking 5 sessions or more|
If you want to improve your wellbeing and vitality, contact Kathryn to find out how a Nutrition consultation can help you.
2. Cooking Classes
Whether you’re looking to regenerate your weekly menu, get some new inspiration, or have a family member with a specific dietary requirement, why not book in for a cooking class? Kathryn runs a programme of regular cooking classes at Balance2health, plus she also offers individual and private group sessions – either at the clinic or your home.
3. Healthy weight loss
The Balance2health Healthy Weight Loss Programme is for anyone who wants to take control of their eating and improve their health and wellbeing. The programme is based around behaviour change, together with sensible, balanced and delicious eating. Throughout the programme there is full support, education, advice and motivation. The Healthy Weight Loss Programme is offered in:
- One-on-one consultations
- Private groups
- Weekly weight loss meetings
4. Supermarket Tours
If you want to know the healthiest foods to buy for yourself and your family, book in to a Supermarket Tour. As you walk through the supermarket aisles Kathryn will show you how to decipher food labels and see through the food marketing tricks and traps. General tours, for up to six people are held once a term. You can also book a one-on-one or private group tour, which will be tailored to you and can focus on anything from general healthy eating, through to feeding a family, vegetarian food, how to choose vegetables and low GI shopping.
