Herbal medicine at Balance2health

Herbal medicine treats the cause and effect of illnesses, using plant based formulations.

It’s a safe, gentle and effective way of treating disease, as well as improving health and vitality.

Plants contain a vast array of complex, naturally occurring compounds. Many of these have an effect upon our physiology and body functioning.

It is these plant-chemicals that are responsible for the often profound health changes that can occur as a result of treatment with herbs.

What happens during a herbal medicine consultation?

During the consultation and extensive case history is taken, including current health issues and medical history.

A treatment plan is then developed, specific to your health needs. This may include diet and lifestyle suggestions, as well as a herbal formula or tablets.

The cost of this initial health assessment is $90.00 and takes 1 hour and 15 minutes.

After reviewing your health information and seeing you in person, a treatment plan is devised. This outlines:

  • the goals and reasons for your treatment plan
  • the rationale for using herbs
  • details of any dietary changes
  • suggested supplements
  • an expected time frame
  • the approximate costs involved with treatment.

Costs of ongoing treatment vary considerably – depending on your needs, budget and the time involved.
